Fall in love with these decadent Raw Chocolate Truffles after one bite! Take this simple recipe and make it your own by rolling them in whatever toppings you desire. The possibilities are endless.


Ingredients:

  • 20 pitted medjool dates*

  • 3-4 TBSP of raw cocoa powder

  • 2 TBSP of any nut butter

  • Dash of cardamom powder

  • Dash of sea salt

  • Few drops of vanilla extract**

Optional Toppings:

  • Cocoa powder

  • Fine chopped nuts, such as pistachios or walnuts

  • Freeze dried berry powders

  • Cacao nibs

  • Hemp seeds

  • Desiccated unsweetened coconut

Directions:

  1. Pulse together all ingredients in food processor until well mixed and then roll into bite-sized balls.

  2. Roll in toppings of your choice

Notes: * If dates are not fresh and soft, soak in warm water for 20 minutes to soften before blending.

** For gluten-free be sure to use alcohol-free vanilla extract.
